GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BODY AND YOUR PARTNER'S

A short plan that starts with individual self-exploration, continues with exploring your partner's body and ends by sharing preferences. Useful at the start of therapy or of a relationship.

  • 2 weeks
  • 3 steps

Who it's for: Individuals and couples who want to get to know their sensations and preferences better.

Before you start (optional)

Each of you takes the test “What turns you on?”: it gives you words to talk about your desire and, if you are in therapy, a sheet to discuss. Your answers stay on your phone.

  1. Self-exploration wheel

Step 1 · Exploring on your own

Two or three sessions during the first week, each person separately, focusing on sensations and not seeking arousal.

    Mild · No genital areas

When to move onMove on when each of you has managed at least two sessions comfortably; if not, repeat this step.

  2. Erogenous zones map

Step 2 · Exploring your partner

Twice during the second week, “Find the zone” at the Spicy level, rating each area from 1 to 5. Any area can be left out.

    Spicy

When to move onMove on if you were both able to give feedback; if either of you rates comfort below 3, repeat it with no genitals.

  3. Yes / No / Maybe

    Step 3 · Sharing preferences

Once at the end of the second week, each of you completes the list in private, and then you talk about the matches together.

    Mild

When to move onThe plan ends after discussing the matches in your session; if discomfort comes up, work through it in therapy before starting another plan.

Are you in therapy?

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to be in therapy to follow the plan?

No. You can follow it on your own, at your own pace. If a conflict is holding you back or something is hurting you, a sex therapist or couples psychologist can support you, and the plan works as a tool for them too.

Is anything we do saved?

Only on your device: which steps you have ticked off and, if you want, your reflections. Nothing reaches ViveLaVita, and one button deletes it all.

What if a step doesn't work or makes us uncomfortable?

Repeat it calmly, go back to the previous one or leave it. Every step can be skipped, and a “no” is always enough. Each step tells you when to move on.
