INTIMACY IN A LONG-DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP

A plan to sustain emotional and erotic connection in a long-distance relationship. It combines synchronised challenges with conversation and ends by preparing for your reunion.

  • 3 weeks
  • 3 steps

Who it's for: Couples separated by distance, temporarily or regularly.

Before you start (optional)

Each of you takes the test “How do you connect sexually?”: it gives you words to talk about your desire and, if you are in therapy, a sheet to discuss. Your answers stay on your phone.

  1. Long-distance games

Two calls or video calls this week with Spicy-level questions, about desire and what you miss about being together.

    Spicy · Active listening

When to move onMove on if you both felt heard; if not, repeat it for another week.

  3. Long-distance games

Step 3 · Planning your reunion

One or two encounters this week at the Spicy level, ending with the next-encounter stage and noting down a concrete plan together.

    Spicy · No points

When to move onThe plan ends with a reunion planned; if comfort stays below 3, go back to the first step.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to be in therapy to follow the plan?

No. You can follow it on your own, at your own pace. If a conflict is holding you back or something is hurting you, a sex therapist or couples psychologist can support you, and the plan works as a tool for them too.

Is anything we do saved?

Only on your device: which steps you have ticked off and, if you want, your reflections. Nothing reaches ViveLaVita, and one button deletes it all.

What if a step doesn't work or makes us uncomfortable?

Repeat it calmly, go back to the previous one or leave it. Every step can be skipped, and a “no” is always enough. Each step tells you when to move on.
