SPICY TRUTH OR DARE

The all-time classic, turned up and made to measure. Choose whether you play as a couple or with friends, the level and who goes first: the card does the rest.

Before you start, agree on your limits and a safe word. Anyone can chicken out at any time: it costs 2 points, never an explanation.

How to play

Choose the mode: as a couple the dares can be intimate; in a group they are social and nobody touches anybody. Taking turns, each player picks truth or dare and a card from the level is turned over. Do it and you score (truth +3, dare +5); chicken out and you lose 2 and spin the forfeit wheel. Nobody can pick truth more than three times in a row.

Earn points

Truth +3, dare +5 and chickening out −2. Whoever has the most at the end of the night wins.

You choose

Couple or group, three levels and turns in order or at random, for every kind of night.

No pressure

Chickening out is allowed: it costs points, not explanations. Limits are always respected.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between playing as a couple or in a group?

As a couple, the dares can be intimate and sensual. With a group of friends they are social, fun dares —impersonations, dancing, singing, confessions— and there is never any intimate contact with anyone in the group.

How do we agree on limits?

Before you start, say out loud what is off the table and choose a safe word that stops everything. Start on mild and only move up a level when everyone is comfortable.

How many players can play?

From 2 to 6. In couple mode there are two of you; in group mode you can add up to six names, and turns can go in order or at random.

What if someone doesn't want to do something?

They chicken out, and that's fine: they lose 2 points and spin the forfeit wheel, which can also be skipped. Nobody has to explain themselves.

Is it free? Is anything saved?

It's free with no sign-up. Names and points are saved only on your phone or tablet, and one button deletes them.
