How to Use The Pink Side

Using the cup isn't the challenge we might think – it's actually pretty easy, though it takes a little practice. With these simple steps, you'll be using it perfectly in no time.

1. Sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-4 minutes. You can fill a pot with water and then submerge the cup, or place it in a cup and pour the hot water over it.

2. Wash your hands thoroughly.

3. Fold the cup so it resembles a U shape. There are two small holes, and you'll need to create the fold so that the holes are parallel.

4. Choose a comfortable position, similar to how you would insert a tampon.

5. Relax and gently insert it, using your middle finger to ensure it reaches its proper place.

6. Clean your hands again and carry on with your day. As long as you don’t feel any unusual discomfort, everything should be fine down there.

Tips:

• Practice inserting the cup when you’re not on your period to get the hang of it. The sensation might feel different when it’s inside, as the vulvar area tends to be more sensitive during menstruation.
• During the first few days of your period, we recommend using a pantyliner as a precaution against any minor leaks.
